Welcome Erika Mertens

Erika Mertens has recently joined the BakerStarrett, LLP she brings over three years of marketing and graphic design experience to her position. She currently spends most of her time managing the company website, developing and managing various social media platforms, and other technology initiatives.

Erika graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Dubuque with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Graphics and Interactive Media with a minor in Communications in 2012.

Erika and her husband Ryan currently reside in Altoona, IA. Both Ryan and Erika grew up in Grinnell and participated in many sports for the Tigers. Erika and her husband are expecting their first child this May 2016. In her free time, Erika enjoys spending time with friends and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings and Iowa State Cyclones.
