Welcome Adam!

We are excited to announce that Adam Maharry has joined the BakerStarrett team as our newest Accountant in the Bookkeeping Department. Adam brings a strong educational background, deep local roots, and plenty of enthusiasm to our growing firm, and we are confident he will be a great addition to our team and an asset to our clients.

Adam earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Iowa, where he developed a solid foundation in accounting principles and business practices. Growing up in Newton, Iowa, Adam has always valued small-town community connections and continues to call Newton his home today. He comes from a large family, with four siblings—including his twin brother—which has helped instill in him the importance of teamwork and communication.

Outside the office, Adam is passionate about making the most of his free time. He enjoys playing golf whenever he gets the chance, riding motorcycles, and boating at Lake Red Rock. Adam also likes hitting the pickleball courts, cooking and exploring new recipes, and watching sports—especially as a big fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, Kansas City Chiefs, and Chicago Cubs. With his love for both outdoor activities and sports, Adam brings a well-rounded and energetic spirit to our workplace.
